The prizes for the Genealogist award for young people were presented at the FFHS
Conference "A flight of Yesterdays" on Saturday 28th August.
S&N sponsored the award presenting the
Federation with cheques for £2000. This
enabled the competition to be publicised
at family history events.
Preserving our
family histories will always be in the
hands of a new generation of
genealogists and it's up to all of us to encourage them.
